Terms of use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply when you use EVMaply, with or without an account. We kept them short and readable.
1.What EVMaply is
EVMaply is a free service from Appsurge. It shows public charging points and the ad-hoc price you pay without a subscription, calculated for your car and your session, and it helps you plan the cheapest trip.
Prices come from official open data feeds, from operators and from community sources such as Open Charge Map and OpenStreetMap. Prices of charging cards and roaming subscriptions are not included — except the prices of your own cards that you enter yourself. Those are calculated from what you entered.
2.Prices are indicative
We do our best to show correct and up-to-date prices, but sources can be late, incomplete or wrong, and operators can change their prices at any time. The price shown at the charger or in the operator’s app is always the one that counts. Exchange rates are indicative (European Central Bank).
Charging times, ranges and trip plans are estimates. They depend on your car, the weather, traffic and the charger itself.
3.No guarantee
We can’t guarantee that a charger exists, works, is free or accepts your car or payment method. Always check on site. The service can be unavailable now and then, for maintenance or because a source is down.
4.Your account
- Use correct details and a real email address.
- An account is personal: one person per account.
- Keep your password secret. If you think someone else uses your account, change your password and tell us.
- You need to be at least 16.
5.Fair use
Please don’t:
- scrape or bulk-download the map data or price data, or use the website’s data endpoints for your own app or service;
- misuse the “report a problem” function, for example with false or automated reports;
- try to break into the service, get around limits or disrupt it for others;
- use the service for anything illegal.
6.Data from others
Part of the data comes from open sources with their own licences, such as the Open Database License (ODbL) and Creative Commons. You find the sources, licences and credits on the sources page.
7.Liability
EVMaply is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using the service or by data that turns out to be wrong — for example a higher charging bill, a detour or lost time.
This doesn’t limit any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, and it doesn’t affect your rights as a consumer.
8.Changes
We can improve, change or stop features. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell account holders by email before the change applies. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
9.Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time on your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example in case of abuse.
10.Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of België. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent court under those rules.
