EVMaply vehicle catalog — sources and adaptations 1. Original Open EV Data profiles https://github.com/KilowattApp/open-ev-data Copyright (c) 2024 Tijs Teulings. EVDB by Gaia Charge https://github.com/gaia-charge/evdb Data licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Legal code: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode.en EVMaply adapts field names, normalizes brands, retains usable battery capacity, chooses published consumption, and marks generated charging curves as estimates. Those adapted records, identified by source=gaia, are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. Original attribution, source URL and revision date accompany each adapted record. The license applies to the adapted data, not EVMaply's application source code. 3. EV Compare https://evcompare.org/data/ CC0 1.0 Universal: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ Adaptations: compact field names, US market labels, and consumption estimates derived from usable battery capacity and EPA range. These estimates are marked. 4. Manufacturer specifications and corrections Individual factual specifications are verified against the manufacturer links in data/car-overrides.json and data/car-corrections.json in the EVMaply repository. No manufacturer photographs, logos or descriptive marketing copy are included. Generated charging curves remain estimates, not measured manufacturer curves. Catalog metadata distinguishes an upstream revision from the time EVMaply checked the source. A daily check does not certify complete worldwide vehicle coverage. Data is provided as is, without warranty. Specifications vary by market and trim.
